I've built racecars in Sweden and agentic systems in Tanzania. Today I work at the intersection of software, ML, and hardware to build ambitious robotics projects in Paris.

I hope my life's work will support a future where humans, nature, and technology exist in symbiosis rather than extraction.

unitree at 120ft factory

I built a python and ROS2 framework to teleoperate and record data on the two first Unitree G1-D robots in Europe.

With the data stored in Hugging Face, I trained a gr00t N1.7 VLA in Modal and rolled it out on the real robots to assemble an IKEA lamp.

Further project details are confidential.

walnut.

Walnut is an anthropomorphic quadruped that lives on your desk. @chrisvtom and I built the robot from scratch using off-the-shelf hardware (plus a TBA distroboard), enabling wireless charging, expressive gesturing, RL-based locomotion, and self-motivated existence. It was inspired by the Sesame project by @Dorian_Todd_.

Check it out on twitter.

fr8

I spent three months with @theo_michel42 at FR8 in Helsinki building a fully self-governed factory. We let 30 people try it for a month and it made about 70 parts.

We built a control hierarchy for each robot and machine on the floor. The central agent managed lines and sales, while each robot was controlled by an agent that maintained the robots state machine. Communication over MQTT.

We also built several of the robots from scratch - PCB design, quick prototyping, firmware, homing sequences.

mecha labs

My first proper entrepreneurship experience - building an open-source community of robotics builders with @Alba and @Yiyang.

We built CI/CD tools and 3D visualization infrastructure for robot projects, raised a small ticket from Pareto, and grew a 250+ person Discord community.

I sunset the project in December 2025 when monetization no longer made sense and I wanted to move more into hardware and deeptech - which eventually led me to FR8.

pollen robotics

I wrote my second bachelor's thesis on designing a kinematic link leg mechanism under the constraints of the Reachy 2 semi-humanoid robot at Pollen Robotics.

The work covered kinematic and dynamic analysis of the linkage - workspace optimization, force transmission, and design inside Pollen's existing chassis.

twiga

In Feb-Apr 2024, I researched AI in Tanzanian edtech for my master's thesis at KTH. I built Twiga, a WhatsApp agent for Tanzanian teachers, studying RAG before it became a household term.

It won the Meta Llama Award of $50k, which we gave to the Tanzania AI Community to keep developing it further.

In 2025 we signed an MOU with the Government of Tanzania, with continued support from KTH AI Society. In 2026 Aalto AI Society joined. The team is now around 20 people across three countries.

head of mechanical - formula student

From 2019 to 2022 I held various roles in the mechanical design team of KTH Formula Student, first as a mechanical design engineer focusing on the manual and autonomous braking system and later as head of mechanical design.

Together with Edvin Hagberg I led a team of 15 student engineers to build the mechanical components of DeV17, a 4WD, carbon-fibre monocoque, hub-driven, driverless formula-style car.

about me

I'm Victor, an engineer based in Paris. I work across software, machine learning, and hardware, and I'm happiest when building ambitious robotics projects with good people.
